Rosemary Rowan Tyler
Roma, was born in New England and
has always had a great love of art, especially the sea. She studied at Massachusetts School
of Art and later at New York School of Design.
Traveling the world,
marveling at the great art of the masters, Roma
was always sketching and painting, enriching her talent. She has devoted
her life to her paintings and has studied with some of the most talented
artists of today especially E. John Robinson, who had a great impact on her
styling.
“As I paint, the reality of
nature forces its way onto the canvas.
The sea moves with powerful force, the sky expresses the spiritualism of
God. Landscapes are my second favorite
thing with the views filled with peace and beauty. On my trips to New Mexico I am drawn to the magnificent scenery.
I love the experience of turning a
subject into something the viewer can feel.”
Roma has had
numerous shows throughout Florida and in Europe. Her
paintings are in private collections around the world including Ireland, Scotland,
Spain and Canada
Roma is a
member of Santa Fe Art World., Oil Painters of
America and American Society of
Marine Artists. A featured artist at ART-EXPO NEW YORK, ART-BUZZ
2008, she has been in Art
Connoisseur Magazine and Artist
Advocate.
Her paintings are currently represented by
Santa Fe West Gallery.
